Gertrud is an organic fruit tea with a wonderful blend of the sweet and sour of cherries and the sweet and rich flavor of bananas.
Our Gertrud tea consists of large pieces of apple and banana, which are complemented by the pink colors of raspberries, cranberries and cornflowers. Brewer's guide
Water temperature
The water temperature should be 80-85 degrees and the water should be as ‘soft’ as possible.
Therefore, bottled spring water may be preferable.
Dosage
We recommend 1-1½ teaspoons per 150 ml (1.5 dl) of water, which is roughly equivalent to the contents (in ml) of an old-fashioned tea/coffee cup.
The general rule of thumb is; one teaspoon with the top is enough for one cup.
Pull time
We recommend letting the brew steep for 6-10 minutes.
Storage
Extend the flavor by storing the tea in a dark, dry, cool, airtight container away from sunlight.
